Nervig: We certainly gained a lot from Garrisons. For WOTLK Gold the first few months in Warlords of Draenor Garrisons looked excellent. However, as many admit, it was pretty lame just sitting alone in your Garrison for a significant amount of time. But the Order Halls for Class aren't the same. The activities you engage in there are connected to activities that is not in the Order Hall, and they have you sent off to perform other things.
Nervig: Correct. In fact, in this regard, Pandaren and Demon Hunters can communicate cross-factionally currently. When Demon Hunters metamorphosize, they speak Demonic. This means that two metamorphosed Demon Hunters can talk to one another. It was a minor edge case in which we thought, "Yeah, okay, that makes sense." And Pandaren are always an oddity. They have a neutral Pandaren and as soon as they pick Horde or Alliance then they forget the other? We thought, "Fine, we're letting the line blur. Let Pandaren all speak Pandaren."
Metamorphosized Demon Hunters will be able to communicate with each other, regardless of Horde/Alliance allegiancesFrom what we've witnessed so already, Demon Hunters seem way more mobile than other class. How did it go to develop those techniques?
Barriga: Our game was never designed with any type of movement system for player-based movements It's very prudent in that regard. We were required to analyze the gameand how our engine functioned to do the things that action games be able to do: double jumping, glides and all kinds of almost twitch-based gaming. We didn't even know if it would work. There was a point when the engineer would say "Well I've received everything you requested, with the exception of the ability for you to change direction during a double jump." I thought, "Okay, well, I guess we're not going to be able to get them all." Then I went in and played the game, and I'm thinking, "What are you talking about? It actually worked." It was almost a miracle that we managed to get it all in there.
Barriga: We've basically gone through every system of the game. Many of them, which were showing their age have gotten upgrades. New PvP system, new profession system -- one of the most exciting things is the method in which the process of leveling and experience works in Legion. There's basically a world with five zones.
In the past, you had to select "What are the two zones at low levels that I start the expansion in?" Now we have world-scaling. It lets us say: If you enter Azuna at 100 levels and it's level 100 for you. However, should you enter Azuna at the end and your companion is level 108. you can group with each other.
The level will be 108 for him and 100 for you and both of you contribute as well as receive proper awards.The Blu-ray release comes with an assortment of exclusives including motion comics that is a multi-part documentary on the release of World of Warcraft to film and a featurette about wax World of Warcraft figures, and the teaser trailer that was displayed at cheap WOTLK Gold San Diego Comic-Con in 2013.
