Every month, Sony is FIFA 23 Coins releasing the most downloaded games from the PlayStation Store for September 2022. The lists reveal the most played PS4, PS5, PS VR and free-to play games of the month both in North America and Europe, and there's not much in store this month.
Starting with PS5 games, NBA 2K23 was the most downloaded game on PSN at the end of September North America, while FIFA 23 was the most popular video game on the PSN in Europe (which is no surprise given the immense popularity of football is in the region). Another September new release, The Last of Us Part 1 was ranked third in both regions.
In the transition to PS4, NBA 2K23 was one of the games that was downloaded the most during the month, in both the US and Canada as FIFA 23 took the top place in Europe. When it comes to PSVR Games, Beat Saber was the number. #1 game both in North America and Europe, with Job Simulator and Superhot VR coming in second and third place in both regions.
For games with no cost to play that cover PS5 and PS4 all together, Fortnite was the most-downloaded game in the US and Canada While Rumbleverse was the most popular free-to-play game across Europe.
